PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: May 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dualverse, Inc. (“Dualverse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, protects, and manages information in connection with the mobile application Catch Santa Claus in My House and related features, services, updates, advertisements, and in-app purchases (collectively, the “App”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary of Our Privacy Practices

We designed Catch Santa Claus in My House to be a simple, family-friendly entertainment app.

In general:

  • We do not require users to create an account.
  • We do not directly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or account login information through the App.
  • Photos selected or taken by users are edited locally on the user’s device.
  • We do not intentionally upload, store, review, or sell user photos.
  • We use third-party services, such as advertising providers and app store services, that may process certain data according to their own privacy policies.
  • In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us.
  • If a user contacts us for support, we may receive the information the user voluntarily provides, such as an email address, receipt, order number, device information, or support message.

This summary is provided for convenience only. Please read the full Privacy Policy below for complete details.

2. Information We Do Not Directly Collect

The App does not require a user account, login, profile, password, or registration.

We do not directly ask users to provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Home address
  • Date of birth
  • Government identification
  • Payment card number
  • User account username or password
  • Precise physical location

We also do not directly sell personal information.

3. Photos, Camera, and Photo Library

The App allows users to take a photo or choose an existing photo from their device and add Santa Claus, elf, reindeer, or other holiday-themed props and effects.

Local Processing

Photos are intended to be processed locally on the user’s device. We do not intentionally upload, collect, store, review, or access the photos that users take, select, edit, or save in the App.

User Control

Users control which photos they choose, edit, save, export, or share. If a user saves an edited photo to their device, sends it through messaging, posts it on social media, uploads it to a cloud service, or shares it with another app, that action may be governed by the privacy practices of the device operating system, social media platform, messaging service, cloud provider, or other third-party service used by the user.

Permissions

The App may request permission to access the camera, photo library, or storage features of the device. These permissions are used to allow users to take, select, edit, and save photos.

Users can manage app permissions through their device settings. If permissions are denied or disabled, some App features may not work properly.

4. Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Services

Although we do not directly require personal registration information, the App may include third-party services that automatically process certain information for advertising, app store functionality, fraud prevention, purchase processing, diagnostics, crash reporting, analytics, or platform compliance.

These third-party services may include:

  • Google AdMob or other advertising services
  • Apple App Store services
  • Google Play services
  • Device operating system services
  • App store analytics or diagnostic tools
  • Crash reporting or performance tools, if included in the App version

Depending on the user’s device, platform, region, consent choices, age settings, and advertising settings, these services may process information such as:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Advertising identifier, where permitted
  • App activity related to ads or performance
  • Approximate location inferred from IP address
  • General region or country
  • Language settings
  • IP address
  • Crash logs or diagnostic information
  • Purchase status or receipt verification information
  • Interaction with advertisements
  • Information needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or invalid ad traffic

We do not control all data processed by Apple, Google, or third-party service providers. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, terms, platform rules, and user settings.

5. Advertising

The free version of the App may display advertisements, including advertisements served by Google AdMob or similar advertising providers.

Advertising providers may process certain data to:

  • Show ads
  • Limit ad frequency
  • Measure ad performance
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal and platform requirements
  • Provide contextual or personalized ads where permitted

Depending on the user’s region, device settings, consent status, age status, and applicable law, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Users may be able to limit personalized advertising through device settings, platform settings, consent prompts, or other privacy controls provided by Apple, Google, or the applicable advertising provider.

For European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland Users: Until our in-app advertising consent preference tool is available, you may manage personalized advertising choices at the device or platform level. You may be able to limit personalized ads, restrict tracking, or reset your device’s advertising identifier through your device settings, such as iOS privacy and tracking settings or Android Google ads settings. These device-level controls may help limit personalized advertising, but they may not replace any consent choices that are required inside the App. We are working to add an in-app consent preference option.

If the App is used by children or is treated as child-directed under applicable law or platform policy, we intend to configure advertising in accordance with applicable child privacy and platform requirements, which may include disabling personalized advertising, using child-directed treatment settings, using age-appropriate ads, or limiting the use of advertising identifiers.

Purchasing an eligible in-app purchase may remove ads from the App, unless otherwise clearly stated in the purchase screen or product description.

6. In-App Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases, such as Santa prop packs, elf and reindeer packs, and an All-in-One package.

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not directly collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or app store passwords.

Apple or Google may provide us with limited purchase-related information, such as whether a purchase was completed, purchase status, subscription or product identifier, receipt validation information, transaction identifier, or other purchase-related information necessary to unlock content, restore purchases, prevent fraud, or provide support.

If a user contacts us about a purchase or restore issue, we may ask the user to voluntarily provide a receipt, order number, purchase date, platform, device type, app version, or other information needed to investigate and assist.

7. Purchase Restoration Support

Some users, especially users of older Android versions of the App, may experience difficulty restoring previous purchases after reinstalling the App, deleting the App, changing devices, resetting a device, using a different Google account, or using purchases made under a legacy Android purchase configuration.

If a user contacts us at contact@dualverse.com for purchase restoration support, we may collect and use the information voluntarily provided by the user, such as:

  • Email address
  • Platform used, such as iOS or Android
  • Device type
  • App version
  • Approximate purchase date
  • Receipt, transaction ID, or Google Play order number
  • Description of the issue

We use this information only to verify the purchase, provide support, restore equivalent access where possible, issue a promo code or unlock where appropriate and permitted, communicate with the user, prevent fraud, and maintain support records.

8. Support Communications

If a user contacts us by email or another support channel, we may collect the information included in the message.

This may include:

  • Email address
  • Name, if provided
  • Device type
  • Platform
  • App version
  • Purchase receipt or order number
  • Screenshots voluntarily provided
  • Description of the issue
  • Any other information the user chooses to send

We use support information to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, verify purchases, improve the App, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.

Users should not send unnecessary personal information, sensitive information, or photos of children unless needed for support and voluntarily chosen by the user.

9. How We Use Information

  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Dualverse, users, children, parents, platforms, or others

Business Transfers

If Dualverse is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed to be family-friendly and may be used by parents and guardians to create fun holiday photos for children. The App is intended to be used by adults, parents, and legal guardians, or by children only with parental permission and supervision.

We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to us through the App. We do not require child accounts, child profiles, child names, child email addresses, or direct child registration.

If we learn that we have directly collected personal information from a child in a way that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information or obtain appropriate parental consent, as required by applicable law.

Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information to us may contact us at contact@dualverse.com.

If the App is distributed in a platform category or under a program that requires additional child privacy protections, we intend to configure the App and third-party services in accordance with applicable platform rules, including requirements related to child-directed advertising, parental gates, advertising identifiers, and age-appropriate content.

12. International Users

The App may be available in multiple countries. If you use the App from outside the country where Dualverse is located, your information may be processed in countries where we, our service providers, Apple, Google, or advertising partners operate.

Privacy laws may vary by country. Where required, we will process personal information according to applicable legal bases and user rights.

13. Legal Bases for Processing

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we may process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract, such as providing the App or restoring purchases
  • Consent, such as consent for certain advertising or permissions where required
  • Legitimate interests, such as improving the App, preventing fraud, responding to support requests, and maintaining security
  • Legal obligation, such as compliance with tax, accounting, platform, consumer protection, or legal requirements

Users may withdraw consent where applicable, but doing so may affect certain App features, advertising settings, or support functionality.

14. Your Privacy Choices

Users may have several privacy choices depending on device, platform, region, and applicable law.

These may include:

  • Managing camera and photo library permissions in device settings
  • Limiting ad tracking or personalized ads in device settings
  • Managing Apple or Google advertising settings
  • Responding to consent prompts where shown
  • Requesting support information deletion, where legally available
  • Choosing not to contact us or provide optional support information
  • Choosing not to save, export, or share edited photos

Deleting the App may remove locally stored App data from the device, depending on the device operating system and storage settings. Users should save or export any content they wish to keep before deleting the App.

15. Data Retention

Photos edited in the App are intended to remain on the user’s device and are not intentionally stored by us.

Support emails and related communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, resolve disputes, verify purchases, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.

Purchase-related records may be retained by Apple, Google, or applicable platform providers according to their own policies.

Advertising and diagnostic data processed by third-party services may be retained according to those third parties’ privacy policies and retention practices.

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information we process.

However, no method of transmission, storage, platform processing, email communication, or mobile application operation is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, app store accounts, passwords, backups, operating system updates, and sharing settings.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links, ads, purchase screens, app store pages, or services provided by third parties.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, ads, platforms, stores, payment processors, social networks, messaging services, or cloud services. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party services they use.

18. California Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you may have rights to:

  • Know what personal information is collected, used, disclosed, or shared
  • Request access to personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, where applicable
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights

We do not directly sell personal information for money. Some advertising practices may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Users can manage ad personalization through device settings, platform controls, and consent prompts where available.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at contact@dualverse.com.

We may need to verify your request before responding.

19. European, UK, and Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete personal information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

To make a request, contact us at contact@dualverse.com.

Because the App does not require an account and we may not directly collect identifying information unless you contact us, we may have limited ability to identify or locate information related to a particular user unless the user provides enough information for verification.

20. “Do Not Track” and Similar Signals

Some browsers or devices may offer “Do Not Track” or similar signals. The App may not respond to all such signals because there is not always a consistent industry standard for mobile apps.

Where legally required, we will honor applicable opt-out preference signals or provide legally required choices through consent prompts, device settings, platform settings, or other available mechanisms.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, laws, platform requirements, advertising practices, third-party services, or our business operations.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we may revise the “Effective Date” above and make the updated version available in the App, on our website, or through the applicable app store listing.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
