Dualverse, Inc. (“Dualverse,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your family’s privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is
handled within Letter to Santa for Christmas – Letters from North Pole by GPT.

1. Overview

We design this App to protect children’s privacy and give parents full control. Dualverse does not sell or share personal data for
marketing purposes.

The only third-party data collection for advertising comes from Google AdMob, which has its own privacy practices.

The App also uses third-party providers (listed below) to operate core features such as AI replies and optional physical mail
delivery.

2. What We Process

Letters & Replies

  • Free users’ letters exist only long enough to deliver replies and then auto-expire (~24 hours).
  • Subscribers may keep a Santa Letter Archive while their subscription remains active; parents may export before cancellation.

Profiles & Behavior Lists

Optional child profiles (name, age, gender) and behavior notes are stored locally or in a secure environment only while needed.

Santa’s Note (from Parents Only)

Used temporarily to personalize AI replies; never shared externally except with OpenAI to generate drafts.

Physical Santa Letters (PostGrid Fulfillment)

When parents choose to order a real mailed Santa Letter, we process the following information solely to fulfill the order:

  • Recipient name
  • Mailing address
  • Selected shipping method
  • The letter content chosen to be printed

This information is shared only with our print-and-mail partner, PostGrid, for the sole purpose of printing and delivering the
letter within the United States.

Physical-letter data is not used for marketing, analytics, or ad targeting.

Diagnostics & Ads

Basic diagnostic data (crash logs, usage statistics) may be processed for stability and security.

AdMob may collect device identifiers to show contextual ads. We cannot control AdMob’s independent data practices.

For European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland Users: Until our in-app advertising consent preference tool is available, you may manage personalized advertising choices at the device or platform level. You may be able to limit personalized ads, restrict tracking, or reset your device’s advertising identifier through your device settings, such as iOS privacy and tracking settings or Android Google ads settings. These device-level controls may help limit personalized advertising, but they may not replace any consent choices that are required inside the App. We are working to add an in-app consent preference option.

No Linking to Apple ID

We do not link letters, profiles, or usage data to an Apple ID or other persistent personal identifier.

3. How We Use Information

We process information only to:

  • Operate core features (letters, replies, archives, parental tools)
  • Allow parents to generate and edit AI drafts
  • Fulfill optional physical mail orders through PostGrid
  • Maintain service reliability, safety, and compliance with store policies

4. AI Services (OpenAI)

The App uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT to draft Santa replies. All AI output is fictional.

Parents must review and approve every draft before showing it to children.

OpenAI’s separate privacy terms may apply.

5. Children’s Privacy & Parental Gate

The Parents-Only section requires a passcode or biometrics. After five incorrect attempts, parents can reset it.

We minimize the data collected from children and follow U.S. COPPA guidelines.

If you believe a child’s data was collected without consent, email enforcement@dualverse.com, and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data Retention

  • Letters & replies: ~24 hours for free users; stored for subscribers while subscription is active.
  • Profiles & behavior lists: until deleted by the parent.
  • Physical-letter order data: retained only as long as necessary to fulfill, confirm, and support the shipment.
  • Logs: limited retention for security and troubleshooting.

7. Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary with:

  • Apple Inc. (billing & subscriptions)
  • OpenAI (AI reply generation)
  • Google AdMob (advertising)
  • PostGrid (printing and mailing U.S.-only physical Santa Letters)
  • Service providers for hosting, analytics, and security
  • Authorities if required by law

All payments and financial data for in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. Dualverse does not access your Apple
payment details.

For physical mail orders, payment processing follows the method selected in the App (e.g., PayPal or provider shown) and is not
handled by Apple.

8. Your Rights & Controls

Parents can:

  • Review and edit AI drafts before sending
  • Export or delete archived letters while subscribed
  • Delete child profiles or behavior notes
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple Settings

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a family app, including encrypted communication and device-level protection.

No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to improve protection.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App means acceptance of the revised version.
